Montessori Preschool
The Montessori 3-6 program consists of 24 children. There is one Teacher and two Aides with a 1 to 12 ratio. Children range in ages from 3 years old to 5 years old. The children are grouped in this traditional Montessori way to promote community life. It is a fully equipped Montessori environment that includes sensorial, practical life, math, language, cosmic and geography, and art.
The Toddler Too Program consists of 16 children with 1 lead teacher and 1 teachers aide with a 1 to 8 ratio. Children range in ages from 2 years old to 3 years old. The classroom consists of simplified Montessori Materials that are suited to the transitional toddler. There are also daily experiences in art including easel painting, play dough, and finger painting.
The Toddler Program consists of 12 children with a 1 to 6 ratio. There are 2 Caregivers. Children range in ages from 18 months to 2 years old. This environment offers developmentally appropriate activities that promote language and cognitive development, as well as social and emotional development. The children also have daily experiences in art, music, and creative movement.
The Infant Program consists of 8 children with a 1 to 4 ratio. There are 2 Caregivers. Children range in ages from 6 weeks old to 18 months old. This environment provides a nurturing setting for infants to grow and learn. The Caregivers promote development by singing, reading, and playing with the children.
We accept children year round based on space availability. We are licensed by the Department of Human Services and follow state staff to child ratios through out our programs. Upon acceptance, each child is orientated into the various programs through a one to two week phase in schedule.
